Remote reading of fiscal meters
The fiscal meter already has a modem and SIM. enerdata calls it over GSM and reads its load profile and totals: yesterday's load profile every morning, today's on request, even when the SCADA does not respond.
The platform
Load profiles and totals for all your meters, in a single overview.
- Exported and imported
- Exported energy in blue, imported energy in magenta, quarter hour by quarter hour.
- The totals
- The total of each day and of the month, for every meter.
- A day without data
- It stays empty, with a dash: you see it at once.
- Meters not responding
- The status is next to the meter, with a dashboard and notifications.
What is read
The fiscal meter's data, when you need it, ahead of the distributor.
It is the metered production, the figure the distributor takes into account. enerdata does not replace the SCADA and does not read the inverters: it works alongside it, on the fiscal meter.
| Data | How it arrives | What it contains |
|---|---|---|
| Yesterday's load profile | Every night, scheduled per meter | The quarter hours of the day, exported and imported |
| Today's load profile | On request | Updated to the last quarter hour |
| The month's totals | At the end of the month | Registers 1.8.0 and 2.8.0, with the kWh calculation |
| Meter status | On the dashboard and in notifications | Which meters respond and which have problems |
How it reads
More successful readings, whatever the line conditions.
Behind every reading is an engine that knows how to talk to each meter, when to retry and when to wait.
- Call
- Over GSM, to the modem already on the meter. Several meters in parallel, each with its own protocol.
- Protocols
- IEC 1107 and DLMS, for meters from different manufacturers, with a single engine. Supported models
- Line
- Communication adapts to the quality of the meter's line.
- No response
- New attempts within the same call and during the day. Then a flag on the dashboard.
- Register
- The exported energy register, 1.8.0 or 2.8.0, is recognised automatically.
- Readings
- Once or at scheduled times, with an email when the reading is complete.
- Viewing
- All meters in one view, in the same format for every model. Everything can be exported to Excel.
- Infrastructure
- Software and hardware developed and run in-house.
- Distributor
- Readings avoid the time slots used by the distributor and are short.
- Not read
- Meters managed by the distributor, even if compatible, and Open Meters.
Getting started
The meter list today, the first readings tomorrow.
- StartThe master data
An Excel file to fill in with the meter data: model, modem phone number, K factor.
- The same dayThe connection test
We check and import the master data and test communication with each meter.
- The next dayThe first data
The load profile and registers of the connected meters are already being read.
There is nothing to install: enerdata uses the modem and SIM already on the meter. Need historical data? Past months can be read, if they are still in the meter's memory.
Let's talk about your meters.
Tell us how many meters you manage and what you need: we reply within 24 working hours.
